About Me
After a number of years in counselling and having held senior posts of management in two of the leading firms in the North East in multiple fields of addiction, I am very experienced in all aspects of counselling, both from the training of students concept and personal 'one to one' counselling. My experience at delivering Counselling related topics at Durham College along with a vast experience of people skills have stood me in good stead in my vocation as a Counsellor.
As a private practicioner I deal mainly in a core model approach of psychodynamic-humanistic discipline. Having also obtained an Integrative Counselling Diploma along with a multitude of certificates on various aspects of Counselling and Training.
Continual Professional Development lays at the heart of ethical practice, this is a process to which I remain both committed and enthusiastic. I demonstrate this by my attendance to theoretical development study and by delivering a range of presentations. I am considered to be a respected and popular after dinner speaker at business and Rotary functions.
